|Accommodation:||Volunteers will stay in the volunteer house consisting of 2-4 sleeper rooms, each with its own bathroom and a porch looking out onto the beautiful Karoo dessert. There will be a volunteer coordinator living on site.|
|Work Schedule:||Monday – Thursday: (7am to 4pm) Rhino work; including feeding, cleaning enclosures, mud baths, companionship, walks and lessons. Anti-poaching unit training (dogs and puppies); feeding, cleaning enclosures, grooming, training, playing with, walking and lessons.
Fence patrols; either by horseback or quad bike.
Additional tasks include; vegetable picking, farm maintenance, conservation lessons, ARC ( Rescue Centre) tasks including enclosure cleaning, hydroponic work (aquatics and plants)
Friday: Excursion (Zip lining, Cape Town, Horseback Safari, Quad bike Safari, Day Spa)
Saturday Morning: Rhino work; including feeding, cleaning enclosures, mud baths, companionship, walks and lessons.
|Menu:||Volunteers will be provided with 3 wholesome meals daily.Should you have any dietary requirements please advise us before hand.|
|Outings:||Cape Town, V & A Waterfront, Zip Lining, Touws River tour and many more!|
|Required||Travel and Medical Insurance. Insurance is a requirement of this program, as you will be exposed to elements of wildlife and nature.|
