For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to work with animals in a way that would contribute to their survival and conservation. Not only is their continued existence important, but also their individual welfare. At the Lion Park, you find both points are equally balanced. Instead of preaching to the masses through a TV show or a magazine article, people are able to be up close to the great beasts of Africa, to touch and interact with them. We as volunteers, have the best opportunity to spend time with the cubs in the nursery and at ‘touch a cub.’ The staff are great and the other volunteers you bond with will remain your close friends for life. The Lion Park brings conservation, entertainment, and animal welfare all together and volunteering here is an experience you will never forget!
