Living with Orphaned Rhinos

Make a difference by joining our orphaned rhinos program at the world largest rhino orphanage, Care for Wild. At this program, volunteers play a crucial role and are responsible for hand rearing and rehabilitating baby orphaned rhinos. Learn the processes involved in caring for sick and orphaned animals; which includes learning how to do the precise preparation of the formula for the smaller rhinos, bottle-feeding and keeping careful records of these rhinos feeding behavior, weight gain and development.

Volunteers at Care for Wild will also be responsible for helping with the maintenance of the orphanage which includes cleaning, preparing food for any and all animals in care and assisting in any way possible. Other animals on the property include giraffe, wildebeest, waterbuck, kudu and additional primates.
