Heart for Orphans Wild Edition Volunteer Program

Program Overview

Experience the best of South Africa; community, culture and wildlife. Volunteers will spend their mornings helping local women prepare and feed 150+ children; and work with care takers to help teach children at an orphanage for disabled children. In addition to working in the community, volunteers will experience the best of South African wildlife at Kruger National Park in the afternoons and evenings.

Your Role

Within the community, volunteers will assist the local mamas to help prepare meals for over 150+ kids. Following that, volunteers will head over to the local orphanage to help the teachers with the daily activities. Volunteers are encouraged to share their talents and expertise with these children and to teach and play with them. In the afternoon and evening, volunteers will experience the beauty of African wildlife by participating in game drives, bush walks and sleep outs in Kruger National Park
